Game Rules

  • The group stage will follow a single round-robin format, consisting of 4 teams per group. The knockout stage will utilize a single elimination system.

  •  Each game has a legal time limit of 15 minutes, with no breaks. The group stage will be timed using a continuous stopwatch, and there are no offside violations in any of the matches.

  • Winning teams receive 3 points, while losing teams get 0 points, and in the event of a draw, each team earns 1 point. The first and second place teams from each group will compete on the same day in a single elimination format for the "Fair Trade Cup" championship, runner-up, third place and fourth place. Meanwhile, the third and fourth place teams in each group will compete for the "Empowerment Plate" championship, runner-up, third place and fourth place. In case of tied scores, rankings will be determined in the following order:

a. Points earned in matches between the relevant teams b. Goal difference in matches between the relevant teams c. Goals scored in matches between the relevant teams

d. If teams remain tied after considering items (a) to (c), their rankings will be reassessed based on their matches against each other, following the same criteria. If this still does not resolve the rankings, then items (e) to (h) will be used for further sorting.

e. The team with the higher goal difference on the points table ranks higher.

f. If goal differences are still the same, the team with more goals scored on the points table ranks higher.

g. Teams with fewer yellow and red cards will be ranked higher, with points awarded based on the following:

  1. Each yellow card will earn 1 point.
  2. A red card resulting from two yellow cards will earn 3 points.
  3. A direct red card will earn 3 points.
  4. A direct red card received after a yellow card will earn 4 points.
  • Matchups for the knockout stage will be determined by the final rankings in the group stage. Fair Trade Cup: Group A winner will face Group B runner-up, while Group B winner will face Group A runner-up. Empowerment Plate: Group A third place will face Group B fourth place, while Group B third place will face Group A fourth place. The winning teams will advance to the Championship Match to compete for champion and runner-up. The losing teams will proceed to the Third Place Match to compete for the third place position.
  •  In single-elimination matches, every match must produce a winner. If the match ends in a draw, the teams will take part in a penalty shootout, which will use the “sudden death” format to determine the winner.
  • All matches will be officiated by qualified referees, and participants must abide by the referees' decisions.
  • There will be no appeal; all match results will be based on the final decisions made by the on-site referee.
  • Any matters not explicitly covered by the regulations or these guidelines will follow the FIFA five-a-side football rules.
  • A player who commits an offence resulting in two yellow cards shall be penalized with a red card and must leave the match immediately. The player’s team is required to continue with only four players for a duration of two minutes. After the two‑minute period has elapsed, a substitute will be permitted to enter the game (or until the end of the match if fewer than two minutes remain). The sent-off player is not permitted to return to the game and can only participate again in the subsequent fixture.
